Go, Cubs fans, go, to Lockport where a former Cubs infielder has opened a restaurant.
Ron Coomer, a former MLB All-Star and the analyst for Chicago Cubs radio on WSCR-AM 670 since 2014, recently marked a new sort of opening day with Coom’s Corner Sports Grill in Lockport.
“[Ron] and his partners also got their restaurant in Lockport up and running this week. Coom’s Corner Sports Grill is located in the building of the former Iron Horse Saloon (1225 E. Ninth St., just west of Interstate 355).”
It’s a “thumbs up” for former LTHS and Chicago Cubs baseball player Ron Coomer as he opens up his new restaurant in the former Iron Horse Saloon building located at 1225 E. 9th Street in Lockport. The Coom’s Corner menu includes pizzas, sandwiches, burgers and more.
